Maintenance Technician - Stellar Manufacturing

This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and experienced in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment repair in an industrial environment.</p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Operate and monitor equipment to troubleshoot issues and test performance.</li><li>Review and complete work orders accurately; seek clarification when needed.</li><li>Set up and operate drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools to fabricate or repair parts.</li><li>Repair, rebuild, and adjust equipment, including mechanical and control components.</li><li>Install machinery, equipment, devices, and instruments.</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance, including lubrication, filter changes, inspections, and cleaning; document activities in the preventive maintenance system.</li><li>Coordinate with the supervisor to initiate purchase orders for parts and equipment.</li><li>Maintain accurate logbook entries to document maintenance activities and equipment issues.</li><li>Ensure compliance with plant labeling requirements and proper chemical handling.</li><li>Recommend improvements to equipment performance and maintenance processes.</li><li>Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Read, write, and speak English to document issues, complete logs, and understand technical manuals and parts catalogs.</li><li>Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or completion of relevant technical coursework.</li><li>Perform basic math, take accurate measurements, and read blueprints and/or schematics.</li><li>Experience using tools and equipment such as drill presses, hand tools, micrometers, welding equipment, and drafting tools.</li><li>Basic computer proficiency.</li><li>Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crawling for extended periods.</li><li>Lift up to 100 pounds and work in confined or uncomfortable positions.</li><li>Work safely in environments with potential chemical exposure.</li><li>Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators.</li><li>Work in both hot and cold conditions.</li></ul><p> <strong>Leslie's provides a robust benefits package, including:</strong></p><ul><li>Comprehensive medical, pharmacy, dental, & vision plan options.</li><li>Health savings account (with enrollment in the high deductible health plan option).</li><li>Health & dependent care flexible spending accounts.</li><li>Company-paid basic life and AD&D insurance.</li><li>Voluntary supplemental life insurance.</li><li>Company-paid short-term disability and voluntary long-term disability insurance.</li><li>Pre-tax and Roth 401(k) with company match.</li><li>Paid vacation, sick, and bereavement leave.</li><li>Paid holidays, including a floating personal day.</li><li>Employee assistance and wellness programs.</li><li>Earned Wage access is available, allowing early access to a portion of your earned wages before payday.</li><li>Product discounts at Leslie’s Retail stores.</li></ul><p><strong>Pay: $31.34 - $33.00/Hourly</strong></p><ul></ul><p><strong>Leslie’s recognizes a critical component to our continued success is our people.</strong> Leslie's is committed to developing and fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion within our company and the communities we serve.
